The First Visit...

I have been in the U.S.A. since August 2. I have never been here before this time. I decided to go to the U.S, because I have a so big dream. It is that I want to help the poor in this world. So I thought that I should go to the top of this world to know about this world’s situations more. But I also thought that I should know about the culture and tradition of America, since I see it as the first step of my dream to know what the top is.

Hello Riko - how are you? How did you like the Washington Monument? Could you see the whole city from the top?

Good morning! Helping the poor of the world is an admirable ambition, and I wish you much success. In the U.S., wealth and poverty exist together, as they do in many parts of the world. It is a shame for some to have so much while others have so little. We should learn to share our good fortune with others, don't you agree? And that is exactly what you plan for your life. :-)

Hi Linda – I’m so fine ‘cause I’ m enjoying my summer!! It was exciting for me to visit the Washington Monument. I could see the whole city from the top. The view was so beautiful. I was surprised.

Ohayougozaimasu! I agree with you, Nina. Visiting National Museum of American Indian yesterday, I’ve wanted to know what real connection between people. So I want to study about economy and human relationship.
